I cannot find Kent County Lunatic Asylum, Barming Heath, Maidstone on the 1911 census, why is this missing?
If it is listed- how do I find it?
I have tried by a named inmate and by place search, but can’t seem to locate it.

Inmates in lunatic asylums are often listed by initials and not names. THis may be the case here. If you search using a single letter as a surname, and restrict the search to Maidstone RD and residential place Barming, you will get some results (I tried this with ‘D’ and got 16 results, aged 17-78, both sexes.
