Seems that this site is all but dead now....shame.
I had been checking it everyday but it doesn't seem worth it anymore as nothing new worth reading about from the owners.

I will not pay the charge for look ups so I await with baited breath for any updates about subsciptions...

Hmm!!!

"Firm date and pricing" from that I read that it will be a bolt on to existing subs or a stand-a-lone product.
I and alot more of your customers where hoping that you would just put it in with you existing packages and not charge any more.

@all: we've had a quick review of our last few blog posts and they *are* a little too off-subject - we will be returning to a more laser-like focus on purely the 1911 census. On the subscriptions - we are almost ready to announce the availability of subscription based access - please bear with us as we grapple with a few technical issues that will determine the launch date of this - once we have a firm date and pricing, you will be the first to hear.

I, and I bet alot more agree with your last comment. Still one day we will have a subscription service and I bet quite a few will take it up.
That's if the price isn't too high.

Exactly Mark, this blog is being used as advertising for the sister sites. Seem like they want to drag out the option of a subscription for as long as possible, money making comes to mind!

I agree, the last few items seem to be pushing "the other web site" where there are more records, if 1911 census was available on the other site as a subsciption service (and thats another storey) then fair enough, but it isn't. This blog is for 1911 and the other site has it's own blog.
By the way I have asked again recently about a subscription service and have been told no details yet, Hmm!

This is all very exciting but what has it got to do with the 1911 census? The same goes for some of previous posts, after all this is a 1911 census blog! When can we expect a subscription to be avaliable for the 1911 census instead of PPV?
